Hanging bird feeders come in large or small. A small feeder is about 14"-18” tall and a large feeder can be 18" to 24” tall.  I use artificial (rubber/plastic) corks for the feeders. They are more durable and resistant to our buddies the squirrels. The center section of the roof is removable allowing you to pour in the bird seed. The feeder is made of barnwood or cedar. I make the feeding area shallow in an attempt to limit it to smaller birds. A balancer is attached to the bottom of the house, generally a section of bedpost to reduce vibrations. Hanging hardware is included. If the feeder is intended to be mounted on a post, no hardware is included.
